The Ridge Committee
Access is free!
La Crête de Saint-Dominique is a rocky, wooded ridge that cuts across the agricultural plain south of Saint-Hyacinthe. Following the initiative of a group of volunteer citizens, there is a network of four cross-country trails totalling 6 km. The trails are double (two directions) and open depending on conditions.
Access is via Rue du Golf on the north side of the village, off route 137. A sign clearly indicates the place. Access is free, but it is possible to make a voluntary donation. La Crête de Saint-Dominique, a wonderful activity for the whole family!
The trails are located on the same land as Les Carrières de Saint-Dominique Ltd. and the company is proud to support this local initiative in a number of ways, including:
Lending the grounds
Loaning facilities for holding meetings
Supplying stone for trail maintenance
Ensuring snow removal for the parking area
