Les Carrieres de St-Dominique have been the first quarry to produce concrete in the area. We produce concrete using a Erie Strayer brand premix of a capacity of 7 m³. It is equipped with an aggregate scale of 13,000 kg and a cement scale of 3,000 kg. Moreover, 5 aggregate buckets and 5 cementing powder silos of 50 to 100 metric tons feed the concrete manufacturing plant which has an output of 100 m³ per hour. This factory is one of the most important in the area and can produce several kinds of concrete like: concrete with edge, high performance concrete, BCC and conventional concrete.
Our second factory is located in Saint-Hyacinthe and consists of a Johnson brand premix of 3 m³. It also has an aggregate scale of a capacity of 7,000 kg and another of 1,500 kg for the cementing powders. This factory consists of 3 aggregate buckets and 2 silos of 40 and 60 metric tons for the cementing powder. The output is 60 m³ per hour for the conventional concrete.
We carry out the delivery using 42 truck mixers, including 30 twelve-wheel trucks, 9 conveyor trucks and 3 trailers. We also offer the possibility of delivering DB stone to place under concrete flagstone with the conveyor trucks, as well as the possibility to rent a concrete pump.
For more important projects, our quality supervisors are available in order to ensure the quality of our products. Moreover, our graduate technicians of the American Concrete Institue (ACI) received a formation to adequately meet the quality standards. We also have customer service representatives as well as qualified personnel to give you technical advices.
To meet our customers' needs, we offer a delivery service all year long, 6 days a week with a possibility for special openings upon request on holidays, Sundays and evenings.
